Located in the quiet village of Upper Jay NY, the Brookside Motor Inn is situated next to the east branch of the famed Ausable River offering some of the finest trout fishing in the East. World class skiing can be found just 12 minutes away at Whiteface Mountain. Upper Jay is also well remembered as the home of Arto Monaco and his Land of Makebelieve.

We offer you the best of two worlds: cozy suites (my customers call it "Home away from Home") which are right in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains!

We offer comfortable, clean 2 bedroom suites at reasonable prices. Includes two separate bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room. Will accommodate up to 4 people comfortably.
We also offer a 1 bedroom unit with a full bath and kitchenette which accommodates 2 people.
Amenities for all units include: cable TV, wireless internet, coffee maker and microwave.
Laundry facilities on premises. Monthly rates available.

The Lewis Brook flows behind the motel. Some of the units have decks overlooking the brook. Great for lulling you to sleep at night or just taking a dip. Close to hiking and fishing in the spring and summer months and skiing and ice climbing in the winter months. 25 minutes from Lake Placid.
